Can someone tell me what type of SD Card to Purchase? I had a problem with a 2GB SanDisk SD Card. This was a standard multi-use SD Card I Think I purchased the wrong one. Also, is it necessary to format the SD Card before using it? I don't have a card reader with my computer. If I have to format it can I do it while the camera is connect to the USB port without any probolems? I'm running Windows XP.

Don,
Please contact our technical support crew at 866-WE-FLY-RC (866-933-5972) to discuss your problem. Most SD cards should work fine. It may be a setting or something simple they can have you do to get it working. You shouldn't have to format the card.
Thanks,

Buy any one that has a read/write speed of at least 10mb/sec (66x). Avoid the blue SanDisks, as their highspeed cards are black.

Yes, you can format the SD card while it is installed in the FCO2 and plugged in to your computer. Just make sure the FCO2 is in "PC" mode. I have done this several times. I have to use my FCO2 as a card reader, since my computer won't recognize a 2G SD card for some reason.
And yes, get the higher speed cards for better results. They cost more, but are worth it. I think mine is pretty close to this one:

I seem to remember that mine is a 133x, but I don't have it with me right now.
