Ok, I'm an offroad guy, but over the weekend I took a break from the
offroad track and my B3, and decided to run my new TC3 at the outdoor
touring car track. All I can say is wow, it's really alot of fun. I
never really understood what was so fun about touring cars, and bought
one just to have one, but once you get it dialed in and start making
some fast laps it really does start to bend your brain. I had a great
time, and I have to admit I really had alot of fun tinkering with the
setup to get it to handle just the way I wanted.
I'll defintely be sinking some more money into my TC3 (nothing
flashy..just tires, wheels, spurs and of course spare parts).
I posted some pics and vid clips here (watch out they are big):

How are you holding those metal clips that hold the top cover on?
Mine always fall off when the car crashes. Looks like you have
rubber bands or something holding them on?

Nope, just regular body pins. You might want to either buy a better set of
body pins (some are thicker and stiffer) or bend yours slightly with needle
nose pliers to make them snap on tighter.
Also, make sure the are all pointed to the side, not toward the
back...otherwise they will fly off when you hit something hard.

Speedline hobbies: http://www.speedlinehobbies.com in Clearwater, FL. It's
a fairly new track (they just put down fresh asphalt) and a great bunch of
racers. I raced there again this weekend and keep hearing voices in my head
trying to convince me to sell my offroad car and sink the money into
touring....oh the agony...
