I was wondering if anyone in here could comment on this truck. The new one
they have out looks awesome. Could ya give ur thoughts on the ez start
system, and just the overall support and help traxxas gives with its
products??

I have two traxxas nitro stampedes. I think the ez start on the t max is the
same ez start on the traxxas nitro stampede. The ez start comes very handy
IF YOU DO A FEW MODS and only if. Or else it is a pain in the ass. I had to
sawder the negative and positive wires on the ez start motor because the
little clips that it comes with it always fall off. That's why I sawdered it
and also because one time the wire fell in-between the sper gear and the
clutch gear and grinded the teeth off the sper gear. One thing that happens
alot is the one way bearing slips and you have to take it out and clean it.
But after a couple easy little mods it come in handy.

FYI:
The new 2.5 version comes with a new style starter pod.
Plug is much better.
Also tells the status of the glowplug.
Give it a A+ as well.

Awesome truck
easy start is great- sometimes it takes a bit till it starts but have
never actually had a problem with it at all
