I’ve had this plane hanging from the rafters in my garage for 8 years. After starting with electric RC planes at Baylands in Sunnyvale CA. after an 9 year hiatus from RC’s I convinced myself that the Pipe could be electrified. So after many trial and errors as of today it is a regular at Baylands on the weekends.

Weight 15lsbs.
Original 1978 Airframe Kit – 75.00 Bayside RC swap meet

Motor Suppo 5330-09 – 99.95 - Liightflightrc.com
Batteries 3 3800 11.1V TP hooked up as 9S – 300.00 -Aeromicro.com
Spectrum DS6200 Rx – 79.00 Aeromicro.com
Suppo SP80 HV ESC 64.95 lightflightrc.com

Its swinging 20 x 13 APC prop at 55Amp (2000W) for 7 to 8 min.
