I can't find it now, but Tony Estep presented the idea of burying a nut in foam to receive the main bolt to secure a 3 pc. wing. I adapted it to the Genie line of thermal sailplanes (http://genie.rchomepage.com/) by building a unit I expect to be rugged enough to stand the hard launches. This glues between upright wood fuselage sides and weighs only 3/10 oz. I'm going to put it in Smooth Genie Pro (see File 12) being built to use in lieu of the 8/10 oz. unit detailed on page 11 of File 1.
