Yeah i see that guy now! Maybe the satelite dish is to shoot imaginary SAMs at the little heli/motorcycle guy. That would be cool. or it transmits the signal for some odd reason.

seems like the flaps on the dish are in motion in the photo? maybe they open and close ....you have to try and zap the center while the flaps are open?

^^ that's sort-of what i was thinking -- that this is essentially a 1-player Air Havoc Battle Set, with a free-standing target that opens/closes and (possibly) shoots back

but i pulled all that out of my butt, so put no faith in it :D

Hey, maybe its a 2 player game ... P1 mans heli(with laser battle electronics) and P2 mans satellite (with IR led ) and they both have to shoot each other.

yeah i had thought about that... but i thought an alternative to the battle heli's was a kinda 1 player/mission play heli.

has anybody found info on this yet?

If there is actual IR shooting involved, it looks cool. But the robot guy riding the "chopper" looks funny

I think you guys are on to something with the IR combat idea but wouldn't the name "planet protector" lead you to think that you would be on the defense (shooting at the invader?) rather than attacking (shooting from the chopper)?

I love all the stuff they're doing with the picoZ platform. I can't wait to hear what this actually is! :)

I was at wally world last night and saw the Havoc Stinger (firefly), robo copter, etc etc... it looks like the 1,000,000's of Havoc variations are taking over the stores :eek:

If you consider the fact that the OPPOSING force (bad guy) appears to be a Satellite of some sort, then the Heli might be our Planet's weapon, that's sent up to stop the satellite (alien?....Russian? :p )_from wreaking havoc on us..!
......?...perhaps..:confused:
