During The 2008 AEF the New QQ Aircraft Electric Pitts Python was flown in Public for the first time. This model and It's electric power plant represent the CUTTING EDGE of Electric R/C aerobatic models. At 326 Watts per Pound!!! This thing is a beast....
Special Thanks to Mr. John Glezellis for some great demo flights.
Here's the video from AEF: http://www.rccraze.com/PYTHON.MPG
Note: During the video observe the speed range of this plane, both fast and slow. What is unique is the abilty of the model to fly both big very fast patterns and extreme 3D- STATE OF THE ART!
I will post the systems pics shortly.

The Hacker A150 must be mounted using a firewall extension, this method will ensure the motor is secure even during the most radical 3D maneuvers.
The included wood stand-offs, 1/4-20 bolts and blind nuts are used to extend the 1/2" aircraft Ply Firewall extension. 1-1/4" PSP stand-offs are then used to mount the motor to the model.

The hacker MasterSpin 220 amp ESC is mounted in the Pipe tunnel of the model. This location provides good Airflow over the controller.
The ESC is mounted using the supplied stand-offs and 4"-10 Gauge extensions are used to bring the Deans connectors to the rear of the Battery tray for easy connections.

The batteries are mounted directly to the original Fuel Tank mounting location.
The wood is soaked with med C/A then Adhesive Velcro is used on the floor of the battery tray. 3/4 Velcro straps are cut to length and wrapped around the Tray. This method will ensure the batteries do not move during flight.

The stock landing gear were very WEAK (QQ has updated them now). I choose to go with Carbon Gear from Graphtec R/C:http://www.graphtechrc.com
These Gear were about 3 oz lighter than the original aluminum, and MUCH stronger.

This is one truly sick and twisted airplane. Too much of everything, I tell you! Too big, too powerful, too fast, too maneuverable.
.....okay where do I get one??? :D

Hi Gordon,
This model uses 14S-10,000mAh Lipoly cells.
4ea. individual packs are configured as 7S-5,000mAh for ease of charging.
Upon connection in the model the packs are Series/Parallel to acheive the 14S-10,000mAh

Sean,
Congrats on such a great project, it trully is "Bling"....
Just afew question if thats OK,
- Why did you go with the ply plate and stand-offs? Would'nt it have been easyer and neater to build a ply box to the right size?
- What sort of run time are you getting out of the 14s pack?
Thanks for your time,
jase.

First. Wow! Secondlly. I'm always amazed at just how good the top flyers are. Thirdly. That was an incredible display of power. I don't know if I've ever seen a plane climb so effortlessly. Fourth. I wish I had a functioning sound card.
