DX6
DX7
Robbe-futaba 6EX
Robbe Futaba F14 / F14 Navy (has twin throttles instead of gimball stick)
hitec do some as well.
how many channels are you after, as some companies do switcher units, which can double, tripple or quadrouple functions on a channel, so a 6ch could easily have several add ons

So far I am counting at least 10 channels and I do like the dual throttles idea..can they be combined if desired ?

i think the stick has a connector rod that is spring loaded. besides they take up one stick port. You could have the standard one that has two gimballed sticks on your surface frequency, (75mhz i think)and use a V-tail mixer or Throttle/Rudder mixer move stick to left or right then the motors power up in a manner that will spin your model around on the spot. push up or down as normal then both motors work together.

Britney, The Robbe F-14 navy has twin sticks and they do lock together with a push pin. Each stick is a seperate channel so there goes 2 of 7, but the f-14 has add on modules that can control up to 8-12 functions each. You have to give up one proprtional channel for each module, but you get something like up to 108 functions if you want to spend all the money. Depending on what all you want to control there are other means to make things work. The new 2.4 GHz is the newest thing in radios. You don't have to worry about who is on what channel, Nobody makes a twin stick yet (except Umi), but you can always get around that one way or another. I was looking at the Spektrum 2.4Ghz radios and Santa brought this instead. :D

I have toyed with the idea of using a simple RF remote control for things that don't need proportional control, like lights or a horn, to conserve channels. There are many cheap RF controllers available that can give you something like 12 functions for under $50. They rx runs on 12v dc but the solenoids can switch any voltage. The units come with a simple hand held unit (like you cars' remote unlocker) and are simple to install.
I purchased a 4 channel unit to test, but have not built it into my 1:72 Corvette yet. The plan was to use a simple 2 channel for throttle and rudder, then a 4 channel RF unit for lights, a sonar sound card and spotlight. I included a picture of the rx and tx I got on E-Bay. Just a thought.

What do you need 10 channels for?.. what functions is your boat going to have?

that constant frequency changing thing is 2.4ghz, air/surface LEGAL.
what the full active spread system technology does is not only tell your rx what to do, BUT it also tells it to do it on X channel.
all YOU do is turn it on, then turn on the radio, just as you would a standard FM or AM radio. I have its predecessor working My boats on the UK surface legal frequency of 40mhz, and even on my radio it says "computerized airplane system"

Futaba 9CAPS (http://www.gpdealera.com/cgi-bin/wgainf100p.pgm?I=FUTK89**) is available on 75 MHz. Futaba also has the 12FG (http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk9200.html) and 14MZ (http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk9400.html) on 2.4 GHz.

It's not hard to convert any proportional channel's input to a 3-way switch, but it'll void the warranty.
