I bought the iMax B8 because the HC web site said the new ones, when they came in stock, would be "improved accuracy".
Although the accuracy seems OK, the firmware on the B8 I have seems flaky at best; I have had several lock ups and there is clearly an issue with the button debounce software as I usually have to press the buttons 2 or 3 times for them to work at all and then I may get 2 presses. There is no mention in the manual about a 'LiPO Balance' mode that exists in the menus. It also seems that iMax have moved on to a new improved version of the B8 http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=6443 which may be what I needed for improved accuracy?
I have emailed SkyRC but it has been almost a month now and I've had no reply. From my perspective, it looks like I've bought an early product that is now left behind by the manufacturers who appear uninterested in providing support of any kind. Can HC help?
