Yes it's an excellent heli
But as from 1st of January 2003 Quick UK will not be making up any more
kits for sale due to the time it takes to compile the bits and pieces. They
are now concentrating more on CNC upgrades (makes more money per hour I
suppose)

Hi
I think you will find that Quick UK discontinued the F1 about 3 days ago,
officially that is.They may still have some kits left.
If you do get one make sure its an F1 60 Max, which has all upgrades fitted.
The tail is a bit unresponsive in certain situations and I dislike the tail
control wire. so fit an external tail control rod and bigger tail blades.
Is it any good? Good quality kit, mostly carbon fibre and metal parts,
inexpensive compared to some similar kits and flies well. Quick UK say they
will be supplying parts for some years to come.
However, is it the best option? ... As a new model, no.... Second hand,
possibly, you could do a lot lot worse....

And to think I almost bought one in December.
Glad I didn't, don't like the sound of forking out all that money on a
discontinued product.
Thanks for the warning.

It's not discontinued, they just won't be making up any kits unless there
is a large bulk order for them. All the spares/upgrades are still
available
