Hi, I need a little help with FMS!

I am new to FMS and radio control planes. I have down loaded several models and have flown a Trainer 1 and other basic rudder, elevator and throttle sims. It really helped me learn to fly my trainer 1.

Now I want to fly the 4F-51 sim and am having trouble setting it up. It requires mixing channel 1 and 2 for elevator and rolling control, ch 3 is trottle and 4 is rudder. I do not know what some of the setting options are.

Rudder: ok (turning)
Elevator: ok (up and down)
Aileron: ok (roll control with one servo)
Throttle: (speed)
Tail: ?
Nic: ?
Roll: ?
Pitch: ?

I've tried several combinations of things with the controls now, but am not having any success. My TX is a six channel with v-tail mixing. I finally got it set up so I get the right responses from my real plane, but when I hook it up to FMS. It does not respond right. The following are the settings I think it should have.

Rudder: ch4
Elevator: (needs to be 1 and 2 mixed?)
Aileron: (needs to be 1 and 2 mixed?)
Throttle: ch3
Tail: ?
Nic: ?
Roll: ?
Pitch: ?

Can someone with experiance help me with this please.

well the tail nic roll and pitch are for helicopters and they correspond with the airplane terms. Tail is rudder; nic is elevator; roll is aileron; pitch is throttle because the throttle stays constant in the game all you are changing is the blade pitch. Now with the mixing i don't believe FMS can use mixing properties. I use a sim radio simular to the great planes model. I have the 4F-51 and if you set it up with standard controls aileron ch1, elevator ch2, throttle ch3, and rudder ch4 you can fly it. That is how i fly it. I love FMS i have on my computer over 60 planes in FMS. It is fun to fly.

Thanks customcarmaker that did the trick!
Now all is well with my world.

The 4F-51 seems easy to fly now. I'm betting its really a bit harder then it seems in FMS. We shall see...

Thanks again,
