"I've been doing some homework but I cannot decide between the Airwild 29% Extra 260, or the 3dhs 87" Extra SHP.

If anyone has flown both of these using electric power, let's here what you have to say!"

Since the 3dhs 87" has been out for a while now, I thought I'd renew this dead thread and see what happens.

What's your schedule? We've scheduled our Extra 300 SHP for an April/May ship date.

Shawnlh,
I own the 47" and the 55" SHP. The 55" is just plain Awesome. I finally saw the 87" in person this weekend and saw Scott flying it. This plane is just down right beautiful and flies so nice. Airwild planes are nice and I have seen a few. I think you would be very pleased with the 3DHS 87" SHP. I know I will own one as soon as I can order one.
The 3DHS is just an excellant company and you couldn't go wrong owning one of these.

I just visited 3DHS site, and saw that the 87" cannot be shipped to internationally. I live in Canada so I guess the choice is easy :o

Yep, the carriers we use don't do regular cheap ground service across the border.

Yep, many of our European and Asian customers have giant scale planes shipped to freight-forwarding services that serve their particular nations.

Ben,

One more reason to do a 1.60 sized model. USPS and UPS will ship this size across the border without too much hassle. It's usually about $60 for a plane of that size, which is reasonable.

Yep. I had noticed that. Also, I just think it's a nice size.
