I have a quantity of 25 blank pcbs on offer based on Malc C's circuit discussed in this post:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=508122
I am offering the pcbs for free, all I ask is for anybody who wants one is they pay for postage and packaging costs, say around £1
I have attached a couple of pictures of a blank pcb and a completed circuit to give you an idea of what you can expect.
I made the pcb to fit a particular case. I can give you links from where one can purchase them. Alternatively you can heatshrink the circuit as a cheaper option, which I have done on several occasions.
Anyone who is interested send me a PM.
Cheers

Fantastic looking boards, and a very generous offer
Guys, whilst its some two years since Mark and I set about modifying Alessio's code to recognise 8 proportional channels, and comemrcial USB interfaces have since become cheap and wide spread (at the time of the project they wer costly and not that easy to find), building your own interface is still worth doing, and Ashley had done the hard part for you by having the boards made !
I'm off to PM Ashley before they all go !

Malc, thanks for the kind words. I forgot to mention, I found my spare 4Mhz smt crystals. Each pcb will come with the crystal fitted one less thing to buy!!!! See the second photo. On the whole all parts are cheap, just the chip is the dear part, but in 10off quantities I have seen them as cheap as £2.25 each.
Cheers

Dear all,
I have had quite a lot of interest from people in the USA and Canada for blank pcbs. If you have paypal then you can email postage costs as others have already done. 13 pcbs have gone already.
If you want one/any send a PM

Just got a note from Ashley that mine are on the way!
It was perfect timing for me as I had just received parts that were ordered to build up 3 of the interfaces. Due to his kind offer I'll have a really nice PCB to mount them on now.
Thank you kindly Ashley,
Jeff

I received my two boards todays - super fast shipping to Canada.
I can't say how much I appreciate the effort you put out to share these boards. Giving boards away is one thing but the effort of packing and shipping goes above and beyond.
A HUGE thank you!

What's that saying, you know when someone does something in kindness and later gets the same passed on, Karma (carmer ?).. well this is a prime example.
There are some really nice guys around on these forums.
I too received some boards (more than I expected !)from Ashley, and I'm amazed at the quality. I had some originals made by Olimex and thought they were good, but in comparason, they looked like home made boards up against Ashley's boards !
I'm not sure if he has any left, but if you're looking for a simple build project to get started in electronics then drop Ashley a PM and grab one of these boards before they all go.

I also have to add my voice to the rest and say how generous a guy Ash is!
Many thanks, Lad - but you now have got to make time to go FLY! :D

Gentlemen, thanks for the kind comments. Always nice to give something back to the forums and it's users. I really love it on here so much fun and so many nice people. It's the best site I've ever come across.
Most pcbs have gone across the pond to the USA or Canada. All have given generously via paypal.
Many users have asked for complete kits of parts minus the PIC chip so.........
I have scraped enough parts together to make 10 kits to offer for a small contribution. For a few dollars extra you can have parts also.
I reckon for USA or international customers.
$6 to include pcb, xtal, caps, resistors, LED Transistor, IC socket and a flying USB lead.
For a dollar extra you can a case to fit the pcb. Price includes postal charges also.
For UK customers, lets say half that considering the exchange rate.
£3 for a kit of parts, and an extra 50p to include the case.
Do bear in mind that a pic is not included. Only other thing the user needs is a length of cable to connect the TX signal to the pcb.
So 10 kits up for grabs on a first come first come basis, you can send money via paypal. Any spare money I'll put back into the hobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again for your kind comments and interest.

I received the PCB + parts earlier this week and I have just assembled the PCB, programmed the PIC and it works! The PCB and parts go together very well. I have flown planes/helicopters in Clearview with it.
I had to download the latest version 8.02 of MPlab as my version 7.10 was not good enough. Also I had wired the USB connection with D+ and D- reversed. The letters and colours on the PCB picture in the main thread are ambiguous (D- is white and D+ is green according to my info) but the colours are in the correct order.
Altogether I am very impressed with the quality of the PCB and the price that Ash sells them for.
Thanks again
Richard

A few people have asked for a close up where the usb cable attaches to the pcb:

There are 4 kits left. One set is off to Malaysia tomorrow. Amazing how this site brings people from all over the world together.
