I placed an order 1 week before the Chinese New Year in the hope that it would ship out of China before all the people took holidays. As it turned out, on the night before the holidays it was still showing a status of "processing" and I came across an rcgroups thread about a Turnigy 2217 motor that was tested by Miljenko as an employee of Hobby City under the mistaken impression it was actually a 2213 motor. It just so happens that I had 2 of these 2213 motors in my order waitiing to ship and I had selected these motors on the basis of the motor's perofrmance when tested by Miljenko.

Great! I thought. What do I do now with me in Australia and the holidays about to begin? I saw the "live support" link and figured it was worth a shot. I was pleasantly surprised that I received a quick response so I explained that a portion of my order was selected based on incorrect information on the Hobby City web site. I was told to ask the admin in the myhobbycity forums about technical specs of the motors. I explained that my order was almost 1 week old and was likely to get stuck over the holiday period and I asked if my order could be cancelled so that I can research the situation and reorder in a few weeks. I was told that my order would be cancelled and asked whether I would prefer store credit or refund. I chose refund. A few hours later I received a Paypal email stating that my refund had been processed. All in the nick of time before the holiday shutdown.

Boy was I pleased!!! Well done Hobby City. It's service like this that makes me very happy to continue shopping with you. I continue to tell my RC friends about your great products and can now tell them about your great service.
