I want to buy a new engine, but the old one needs a piston and sleeve

Kevin, how old was the 15fe when it died? How many gallons went through it?
Given the FE isn't the greatest engine, but it is rather durable for what it
is and if you wiped it out that quick you might want to think about a
cheaper engine to start with until you get the hang of things. I've had no
real problems with my FE except it runs a little hotter then it should, but
then again this engine is known for running a little hot.

What do you want.......Pull start or non-pull start? Hpi has a .15ss engine
that's a nice and it doesn't run real hot.

If you really wanna new mill,

I replaced mine with a HPI SS 15 which gave me a lot more power and doesn't
eat the gear box internals, A big difference in performance !!!

I raced a full season with it with no problems
