Okay, they are all still Infra red controlled, and may not work well in direct sunlight, but for the last two years, Silverlit has been distributing small helicopters to the Western world...
This year you can expect a half sized version, a dual rotor version, and a new
three channel version with foward and reverse control.
They already produce the apache for Airhogs, keep an eye out for their latest. We may yet be running flight Ops on our model boats.

Nice. I really like the Chinook. I saw a video recently of radio controlled version (probably larger, too) that I really would like to get my hands on but having a very difficult time finding a distributor/importer and/or the factory that makes them.

its not a chinook, that tandem rotor is actually based on the Boeing-Vertol CH46 SEA KNIGHT, not the CH47 CHINOOK.
any of them around the scale needed for Nord Icelandia?

I've owned two, two channel helis and they are not worth buying, so a three channel sounds good. :)
