Hi Everyone, Iv been messin about alday with me rc toys
Incase your wonderin why i have stuck this in here, i was thinkin because its something everyone can use and might like, that it might be more helpfull to post it in here, if you wanna move it then please do :)
Im not to good with reviews but il try
I have had the U-16 sinse begining of summer when i first saw one, i payed £25 for the little sub, and i have to say im very impressed with it indeed, after i got it outa the box i was wonderin how good something that cost £25 would really be and how well it would work, but wow this thing isnt that much of a toy!!
After charging the little thing ( needs 6 D size batts for the charging stand ) and ( 1, 9v for the controler ) i ploped it into are pond/swomp lol and added some little foam patchs that came with the sub to help it will balance, once all this was done it went every well :) the foward and revese are just on and off, but this dosnt make it any less of a model imo, and also the turning is just on and off but it you dont go beans out you can control this little thing very well and relistic  The diving could be do less of a movment to the bag inside, because when you click the button once it dos almost make it hard to get the perfect level for mid driving ( dosnt hang perfect ) but what am i going on about it only cost £25
My pond/swomp is about 4 feet deep at a guess, and it gos down to the bottom and comes upto the top very well, i have done some tests in that i let the little sub dive anf turned the controler off for about 4 hours and went and did something else, then when i came back turned the controler on and the sub came right upto the serface :D no leaks or anything
Hmm now if you are running this in a weeded pond then you will get it snaged up abit, but again it is easyer to get the weed off of the prop and the turning prop :) iv had alot of weed around my drive prop and it still gos along just very slowly, so you can 90% of the time get it back the side
Id say at a guess iv had this runnin almost none stop on and off for say around 40 mins before it needs recharging, and it dosnt take long to recharge it ( from totally flat to fully charged around 20 mins ) AND im still using the original charging batterys, though i have changed the remote battery once and iv been running this thing for almost a year :D
The cold weather dosnt hurt the little either it seems to just work any temp
All in all id say buy one :D iv not been this impressed about something that costs this little before and the fact that all the time iv owned this sub it hasnt gone wronge once! Thats just shockin imo, my local model shop is sellin them for £22 now so they are even less money now :)
If you want something for a young one then bath times will be alot of fun, and for a pressy for someone older, or a pressy for your self ;)
All the best
Daniel
