This system is no longer seeing any use here, as I've upgraded to an Intel quad core and Nvidia 8800 graphics. It's looking for a new home. I am willing to part this out, or sell everything together for a good discount. Please note that I do not have a replacement fan for the processor or the video card. So if you don't want to use the watercooling, plan to find one of these (i'll be glad to help find one). Waterblocks include 1/2" barbed fittings installed, and all original included hardware as well. I need to look up waterblock part numbers at a later time.

Prices don't include shipping. Paypal only (no additional charge).

Maybe pictures will pique someone's interest?

This was a heavy-hitting machine a few years ago. Not as powerful these days, but would perform well as a server or for some simulators.

I'm working on sourcing all the required fans to run this as regular air cooling again, as I realize my target audience is probably very small.

Again, I am willing to part this out in any way - including cooling blocks by themselves.

Still need to dig up original boxes of cooling blocks, which should have model #, compatibility info, and required brackets for compatibility to other systems. Pretty sure I know where they are, just a matter of digging them out...

Hey, it'll run Doom. :D And most HL2 games at 1280 x 1024 or lower.

Sad seeing these systems turn old ... the Abit NF7-S v2 was probably the best overclocking motherboard of its day. I've got nearly this exact same system running for my wife's computer (Apogee water blocks, though, and an X800XT), and her mobile 2600+ easily does 2.5 to 2.6Ghz.

Good luck with the sale! Might try [H]ard forums or OCForums.com (though you need quite a few posts before you can start using the classifieds at OCF). People there are always looking to snatch up older parts.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm sure that's a better place to offload this. Don't know why I didn't think of that

I had a previous incarnation of this sytem up to about 3.2 GHz for a while (a couple months). It was run on a 900 gph pump and a heater core from an Accord with 2 120mmx35mm Sunons pulling through it - way oversize from what people usually use. Then one day it went poof. Well no smoke, but it was sure dead in the water. Would run when underclocked, but that was it.

This is a new motherboard and processor from those days. Learned my lesson and didn't run this one past 2.6 IIRC.

UPDATE: I've found the northbridge air cooler, heatsink for CPU (but no fan, I'll get one soon), and air cooler for the video card. So this system is essentially ready to return to air cooling, if so desired.
