That is a very nice looking model! I would certainly be very proud to pull that out of the back of my truck and fly it! Maybe someday I assume that it will be fuel powered since it is in the fueled warbirds section????? If it were mine it would definitely be electric powered! :p

This is my effort at a Corsair. The kit was partially framed and given to me at our flying field as the most likely to finish it after it was left sitting under some ones house for a couple of years. :p
RCV 120SP up front, Robart 615 retracts. All up weight came to 6kg but she flies very well and the flaps are a dream to use.
I had a lot of reliability and vibration problems with the 120SP so she now sports a 90 2 stroke.

Not sure how I find this thread, but Mustangs and Corsairs are my favorite scale RC planes. Looking for a good Cosair kit, Im guessing a 60size. Im 100% eletric now, but slowing converting the gas guys at the fields to electrics, now its their turn to convert me from eletric to Glow :)

Super Looking planes guys/gals!

What are you using to measure the thrust?

Here is mine undergoing a static thrust test.

Here is my Great Planes Corsair and AT6 that I built seval years ago. They are both powered by a OS 52 four strokes. By the way, this four stroke is the perfect engine for the 40 size war birds. The mustang is a a Midwest 60 that I no longer own.

Here's my GWS. I was getting little tired of doing military schemes, so I went for an old air racer.

Pilot44, that's a fine looking corsair. Is that the Gold Edition kit?
