CMR Barracuda

Got my CMR Barracuda a while ago and finally took some pics. I haven't built a kit in many years so I'm not sure how good it is. Everything seems pretty decent to me. There is one thing that I'm pretty sure I will change and that is it has a plastic rudder. Here are the pics. Let me know what you think. Hoping to get started on it soon. Looks very similar to Graupner and Robbe kits.

Since I haven't built a model in ages can you guys suggest what glue I should use? I guess the main parts are abs and I'll have to glue some wood and metal also.

Also I need some esc recommendations. I'm gonna go with 2 so I can control motors independant. Hottest motor I would put in here would be the traxxas marine motors. Some I have been considering are these:
