Can anyone provide any book recommendations or references that deal with plank on frame building, making fiberglass hulls etc? I am interested in building hulls that you would find on modern container ships and oil tankers with the bulbous bow. All of the books I have seen deal mainly with tall wooden sailing ships.

Tom Gorman's "Working Scale Model Merchant Ships" does as good a job as any in describing the various hull construction methods, including using blocks of wood for those difficult bow parts.
