Yay.. I get to move again! Gotta love being a pilot  Anyways, I'm moving to albuquerque in a week and was wondering what there is to slope out there. Ive seen trees on top of hills, so hopefully there is access from fireroads, unlike here in Vegas. I'm with Jantar.. DS withdrawl sucks! If any of you DS out there, I would love to hear some good news!
Thanks!

since you have no replys yet, wife goes every year and takes a sky tram to the top of a mountain overlooking albq. from a wife point of view she says its very windy. pics she takes are of very sharp ridges with outcrops of rocks.
search for sandia peak? i think thats it. tom 3

threcixty,
Hi Pal, I like pie too. moving right along, I`ve been here for 15 years and sloping used
to be alot better back in the day. It seems that any decent slope here now has a dammed hotel built right on the slope, albuquerque if you didn`t know is a giant strip
mall made to look like a city. I know of a few places, maybe you can E-mail me when you get to town and I can help direct you to the few spots left. Larry

Hi Guys, I haven't jumped head first into the DS world yet but there is a spot an hour drive west of Roswell that might have potential. It's the Capitan range. Mostly runs east/west so the north/south winds that are so common would be perfect. Very steep sided on both faces. Just a thought....O.L.

Thanks for the input! I am down in ABQ now.. only took 15 hours to drive through that blizzard today! Probably won't be able to go flying for the next two weeks or so, but if slopes aren't the thing, I have a few dlg's, a Thermal Eagle I need to finish, and some Modi wing hard parts that I need to make molds from. Looking at the local glider club, you guys have some nice places to fly flatland style! It has been way to long since I have seen a sod farm!
Lookin forward to meeting everyone soon!
