Hi,
new on here so pls be gentle :o
I have an older wide band '92 KO PROPO EX-II (two, not eleven) AM tx that came factory set for 41Mhz (France). Now I am in Hungary and I need to run 40Mhz.
Can you suggest an aftermarket servicer or private individual anywhere globally who could do the retuning for me? :)
The official KO service centers USA, UK, JP, say it is too old for them to service. I tried using a high band 40 crystal .985 but after 4 meters the signal completely dropped. I have other radios but this one is for a nostalgic special project.
I realise it is only a 2CH not an airplane tx, but I have searched and read many threads & sections and the posters in this section appear the best match!
