I've looked all over the web, but haven't been able to identify this MOSFET.

Package is SO-8 with STM9926 marked on it. I'm guessing it is STMicroelectronics, but nothing on their website either.

It's used in a DN Charger.

Any ideas?

Eric

Post a picture of it with the markings visible.

STM9926: SOP8, Dual-N, 20V, 6.5A, Rdson=0.038Ohms@Vgs=2.5V

Seems to be a copy of the Siliconix SI9926 (available from Mouser Electronics (http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?qs=RgIboipJs7fv32YIEavntg%3d%3d )).

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have an account with Mouser. Several of our pilots have the DN charger. One blew all 3 MOSFETS out by plugging the battery in backwards. Another one just blew out one "channel" with no apparent reason.

This will help me get them back "on the air".

Thanks, Alain. I ordered the SI version from Mouser and got it yesterday in the mail. Quite a few of the guys at our field have these DN chargers. Since two of them have already fried, I bought a dozen MOSFETs just in case!!

There are some interesting bargains direct from China, but when you have a problem, it's YOUR problem. There isn't going to be any after sale help. Both of these chargers would probably have to be tossed in the trash without the help of guys like you and Bruce.

Thanks again,

Eric
