help wanted for phoenix

i downloaded demo of phoenix and now i need to setup with my tx to start learning heli.
i have bought futaba 6ex 2.4g tx.
i have 0 experience with all terms of rc.

can anyone guide me how can i calibrate all the channels so that i can start learning on sim and further i can go ahead to buy phoenix ?

please guide all.

The phoenix demo just lets you test whether the software will run on your PC, and allows you to view some of the features. To actually control any of the models you need to buy the full version, which comes with a lead to let you connect your Tx. Only the lead that comes with it will work.

If you want to get a feel of an RC flight sim, take a look at FMS (http://n.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html). You'll still need to make or buy a (cheap) lead though, and it's not nearly as good as Phoenix :)
