Greetings,

Simulator (and RC) beginner here.

I downloaded the Clearview sim and it seems to run ok on my PC. But controlling with the keyboard gets old real fast.

After searching the forums a bit the impression I have is that a cheap way to go is to get an Esky controller.

I'm curious exactly which model I should get.

I found the following at raidentech: http://www.raidentech.com/e4chflsitrki.html

For only $19.95 I'll take a chance if that is workable with Clearview.

Thanks a bunch,
D.

PS: My RC experience is extremely limited: HZSC with 2 crashes out of 2 attempts, 2 broken props, 1 broken cowling, 1 broken transmitter throttle slider. Haven't solo'd yet.

E-Sky controller is very good, and works well with ClearView. You can also look for it on ebay:

Does it work threw smart propo or does it work like a game pad?

ClearView works with any controller or cable that shows up as Game Pad. If you use smapt propo, you wiull need to get the generic version and use it together with PPJoy. Then, the smaprtpropo Tx will show up in Game Controllers as game pad and can be used in ClearView.
