i have futaba 6ex 2.4ghz tx with me and installed fms but whenever i connect my tx with pc it recoginze as gaming controller in my pc but gimble movement dont show any movement to that detected controller's properties.

in general term i can say that making any movement to my tx dont reflect on my pc and so it reflects same no activity on my fms sym.

can anyone guide me basic step to how to connect my tx to the sim and pc ?

plz your little attention can give me lots of help.

You haven't said what interface/cable you are using. It makes a difference, they're not all the same.

i've tested my cable with all FM and PCM futaba 6 tx's and all worked fine. just my 2.4GHz FASST tx wont work with the cable as i found there is no PPM mode in 2.4..
can any expert guide me which cable will work then with 2.4ghz ?

As far as I know, ALL simulators require a PPM output from the Tx. I might be wrong on this though.

Just checked page 14 of the 6EX manual and it mentions changing modulation, but it does not specify how. I would think it should be possible so that the Tx can be used with a trainer cord.

The transmission frequency has no bearing on the TX working with a simulator interface as you use a direct connection. - As far as I'm awear Archie's comments are correct, in that all the major sims require a PPM signal from the transmitters trainer port. If your TX sends a PCM signal then it may not be recognised by the interface. You need to check your manual to see how to change the format of the port

thank you all for giving your time to my post.
i have solved the issue and now my 6ex working with cable.
it was just cable pin / cable which was not sitting perfectly..

i tried it little harder and now its working fine.

again Thank you all

I guess we should stop assuming the basics have been checked ;)
