Question:
VTOL Design Question:
How is suck-down force measured in VTOL propulsion? I've tried simple payload measurement less rated static thrust, but that really just gives me net payload figures and not really a force equation.
More concerned about elevating the build to minimize suck-down, (have adjusted wing to minimize s-down forces) but how high and how much more equipment depends on measuring suck down force. Is there any way to calculate suck-down force without resorting to CFD analysis?
Thanks
