View Full Version : Which one to get?

After some research, I have narrowed down to these two nitros, but I'm not
sure which one I should get?

RC10 GT Plus

Schumacher .21 engine XT-R3E

I'm more leaning toward Schumacher .21 engine XT-R3E because it has a fast
engine, but it requires you to build it yourself, while RC10 GT Plus is
"ready to run" out of box.

Build a system that even a fool can use, and only a fool will use it.

Sorry for the first "Non-Response", the newsreader just *sent* it before I
could type my comments.
I'm not sure how it is over the pond in the UK, but the local hobby shop parts
support for the GT will be far greater than the Schumacher, at least here in
the U.S.
Come to think about it, I don't beleive I have ever seen Schumacher parts in
any of the hobby shops around here.
The Shumacher may be faster than the GT, but I don't think there is a racing
class for them.
It Is a .21 powered 10th scale, right?
RC10GT's are fast, fun, and very rugged.
Good Luck, with whatever you get.
Let us know your impressions, after you get some *Driving -Time* behind you.

Very, very good point! I had a look for the parts and it's very few, while
RC10GT Pro has more parts available.

Looks like RC10 GT Plus is the winner!!

Many thanks,

Who told you that you have to build it. The Schumacher comes ready to run,
you do need a an electric starter fuel etc but you dont have to build
it.Seen a guy run this at a club and it is very fast.

My local model shop has a box of this. I had a look and it only have the
engine fitted with the body. That's all. The guy tells me I need to fit the
servo, electrical stuff and adjust it, etc.

Anyway, no matter, I've purchased the RC10 GT Plus and am now reading the
manuals! :)
