Hi, I have a external HP multibay DVD 8X+/- burner...UJ-801B is the actual part number on the DVD. It can be used in any compaq/hp multibay compatible slot or used in it's external adapter. Remove the mounting rails and you can pretty much use it in any compatible laptop. It has the usb cable to use with a TC1100 laptop and will also come with a regular usb cable.
