My .15 engine just broke and I am looking for a new engine.

Please keep this in mind. I upgraded the truck, using the Proline kit
and the JumboTires, so I need more power than other normal T-Maxx.

I have in my list couple options:

1. Buy a new 2.5 engine with everything (Engine, Exhaust, Cluch,
EzStart)
Price 170 (aprox) (Ebay) (Aprox 1 HP)
2. Buy a M-16 Megatech 2.6 + Cluch + Cluch Bell (Aprox 1 HP)
Price 115 (aprox) (I don't like to much the idea of Pullstart)

Other options: I saw couple engines with 2.5 HP, but I'm not sure how
many additionals do I need to buy/do (rear-exhaust, carburator,
filters, etc).

I like the option 1 beause basically is plug and play, but if I can
have more power, for the same money, will be good.

Any sugestions, ideas, are welcome.

Regards.

You've pretty much just answered your own question without really answering
it. Is the EZ start worth the 55 dollars plus whatever insane shipping
problems you may encounter through E-bay. If you are going to buy online at
least buy through a reputable dealer like towerhobbies (even there you can
search the web for coupon codes).

Plus if you are going to spend money on an engine spend it well. Meaning
get an engine with true ABC sleeve and piston for the performance and
longevity. A Decent 2.11 motor with pullstart costs over 150 and usually
make 1+ horsepower. Then when you are talking 170 for a 2.5 with EZ start
and clutch, you are talking about lower end motors.

If I were you I'd spend the 170 on a good motor, who cares about EZ start.

One more thing, did you consider fixing your motor. What would you need and
how much would it cost?
