Might any of you be planning to attend this show? If anyone might be coming, via car, from the Westerly direction, I offer a roadhouse and would drive the final portion.
I live in Chambersburg, PA (I-81 and Route30) which is dead on the way if you are coming from the West.

Not this time, but I went a couple years ago... here's one of my favs from then, Quentin Johnson's "City of New York" in 1:24 scale. Powered by a Stuart D10, it zipped around the pond!

Kmot,
You would get the long distance award. Tell you what. If you can get yourself to Baltimore (BWI) I would provide the room, board, and transportation from there.

Andy, York is about a 4 to 5 hour drive for me, but I'm hesitant to come down there---. :p
All the good tools and stuff for sale at that show would absolutely TRASH my budget---.
The flesh is weak---. :D

Pops, I've never heard of the show before now, looks interesting. Can you give more details? Is it just all kinds of models? I checked the webpage photos and saw photos of ships, model railroads and quite a few different engines.

It's BIG on home machining, steam engines, live steam locos, gun smithing... but you'll find other models too.

Pat has it correct. It is also a swap meet and there are quite a few suppliers catering to model engineering. Sherline is always there and I found it a great place for find motors, widgets, stock for tooling projects, etc. There will be some boats floating as mentioned earlier. I especially liked the running internal combustion engines that the modelers fired up occasionally throughout the show.
Nice German restaurant on the way on route 30 too.
I have some photos somewhere of some items from previous shows, I'll find them and post a few.
