I'm wanting to get back into Diesels and am thinking of buying a Enya 25 BBD for my Keil Kraft Super 60, one of the old guys where I fly suggested that I think twice because of the price and availability of fuel, he quoted something like $35.00 a L so I thought that I'd ask about the price and how hard is it to get hold of these days.
Thanks and regards

RZ, why don't you brew your own.
Very simple, go to your local chemist shop and get a bottle of Ether (he will probably only give you 100ml. at a time) and mix with the same amounts of kerosine and caster oil, bingo you have 300ml. of deisel fuel which will last quite a long time as diesels are very economical.

G'day Len, mate I'd do that if I could get the ether from a chemist, thats what I used to do when I was a lad but in this day and age !!!!
Do you know of a chemist chain (chem mart etc) that will sell the stuff ?

G'day RZ. I used to have a model called a Red Zephyr an Old Timer hi.
Well I used to be able to get Ether here from my local Chemist but this is a small town and I know him fairly well, but I still had to explain to him what I used it for.
Other option would be to try a Medical Supply company. I"ve got a mate who works at the local hospital and he used to get it from a medical supply rep.
But as you say, this day and age dunno.
Good Luck.
Len.
