Looking for a recommendation for a good charger suitable for charging;

NIMH 6 Volt 1100 mah Receiver battery pack. Fast charge preferred.

I might also invest in some 3000 NIMH (currently running 2400 NICAD) so
a charger that could handle both battery sizes might be a good idea.

I love the new LRP Pulsar.
Can do everything, including power your lathe or
break-in your motor.
Kind of pricey tho.
$159 at my LHS. (Less than online)
It's a great replacement for my old Tekin.

Try the MRC Brain 909...it is relatively inexpensive and is very versatile.

I gather you are in the UK, for the money a Propeak Varipulse will do
everything you want for £30.

if you want something a bit more expensive then a Supernova or my personal
favorite the tekin BC112 will be fine.

have a nice day
