Hi all!,

I've got a old generation Tmaxx and my stock engine is dead. So
since I'm looking into buying a new motor I was thinking about buying
a .21 for more power.

My question is... Can I simply mount a .21 motor into my Tmaxx
without having a costly conversion kit? Modifying the stock chassis
like drilling new holes, moving the gas tank, or other small
modifications wouldn't bother me, but I don't want to dump a lot of
money into this. (Too late, he he)
And, if a .21 motor can be squeezed onto the stock frame - which
motor would be recommended?

Thanks for any feed back.
-Paul.

you will need the conversion kit...the chassis is longer...

no cheating... you need to get the conversion...

Best motor I've ever had, Ofna Hyper 7 .21, 1.9 HP, 36,000 RPM's, wheelies
on my T-maxx off the line, even with a ton of aluminum parts weighing it
down.

Check this out, it's about the cheapest way to squeeze a .21 in there, It's
not mine, and I chose to go the XTM conversion route, but it might suit you.

Cheers.

It can be done fairly easily. We have done it to 2 maxxes in our local
"club" email/post if you would like more info, and I'll try to
describe what we did.

-Paul. You could get a picco 21 drop in. No conversion and it fitts rigt like the stock engine :D
