What is the aerodymanic effect of having the horizontal stabilizer mounted on the thrustline, below it, or above it?
This airplane would be an aerobatic design.
Thanks

It affects whether the stab is in the wing's downwash or above it, so it might affect its incidence for optimum cruise. Since this plane is an acrobatic one, your best bet is the full 0 setup: symmetrical profile, 0 incidence on all surfaces, everything on the thrustline or as close as possible. It isn't optimized for anything, but inverted flight behavior should match upright flight behavior. See how the fullsize guys do it :)

The vertical placement of the stab also effects knife edge performance. As the air flow off the fuse hits the stab it may apply more pressure to the top or the bottom causing the plane to pitch to the canopy or pitch to the gear. Moving the stab up or down on the fuse will cure the pitching tendency.
