Hi All,

Want to buy the Reflex sim. Noticed on the Reflex website that they are offering a new controller with it called the Ivol. Does anyone know if this is already available in the states? What is the cost?(cannot seem to find online retailers that are offering it) Is it worth the additional cost? Does anyone have one and can review it? Some seem to be posting negative comments on this new controller and I would like to get some objective feedback from someone who uses one. Thanks in advance for any help

Mark, have you tried the "search this forum" function. Entering iVol should return most of the threads discussing this item when it was first launched just under a year ago.

In a nutshell, the concept is that you can fly the model in the sim, say a logo 10, which is set up using the same servo specs etc as your real logo, then plug in a transmission module and go to the flying field with the real model. Any trim settings you make to the real model are then saved and applied to the sim model when you next run XTR. The initial feeling was though the idea is good, in practice it simply wouldn work, and that given the price of the complete package it was far too expensive. Also the design of the iVol wasn't to everyones taste.

I was privlidge to try a pre launch sample, and must admit that out of the box the sticks felt sloppy and the device clumbsy, being wider than my JR X3810.
