Tiny 1.3 based auto-pilot
FunJet aircraft
Futaba 7c Tx
Berg 4 Rx
IR attitude sensors
2.4ghz video DL
2.4ghz XBee Pro for telemetry
IBM T43 laptop for GS
I have all the hardware now. Just learning the GS specifics.

FYI, the second item on your wish list is a default function of Paparazzi. Just FYI.

Thank you Anton.
I am running simulations with the software to get familiar with it. The groundstation is very feature rich considering it is free and available to anyone.

My parents were finishing school in Tuscon, my Dad grew up in LaJolla so it makes sense them headed back. Having traveled with work to about every major US city I'm pretty happy they did.

Hey lvspark,
Ya, there really seems a lot of confusion about MAV / UAV distinction it seems. I guess I just like the term as meaning a micro-sized UAV.

Seems a lot of fuss about nothing to me, changing names and definitions.
They are all aircraft, (except when pilot error, equip failure creeps in, then they are inefficient excavating devices). Some are piloted by guys (and women) in them, some are on the ground but think they are in them,(vid piloting with headsets) and some are autonomous most of the time. There are probably almost equal numbers of "real" aircraft as there are "model" aircraft in operation throughout the world. Names change usually from various flavours of Political Correctness ;"Remote Piloted" upset the traditional "White Silk Scarf" brigade, the only "real" pilots, in their opinion ; so then we had "Unmanned" aircraft, (Did that mean they had their B***s cut off?) also what about the women?.) There were Drones, (Drones are unproductive bees , but our drones are supposed to earn their keep, if only by being shot at, so THAT is out .......MAV? Micro uav? compared to a Convair B36 even a 60 plus span Predator is kinda small......There are guys working on "Swarms" of small UAVs, which all do pretty much the same thing in the same place whilst trying not to get in each other's way,(sounds like one of those very expensive but fascinating projects you do to help your students get their Phd's at Darpa expense, plus assistance with personal pension plan from the real beneficiaries, the Asian companies that use the eventual technology to make cute little hand size helicopters.) So what do we call them? (The little planes, not the little fellers from... Ooops!). How about just calling them all "Toy Aeroplanes" and leave it at that?
