New micro 5 gram outrunners for indoor and micro models.

Three KVs to choose from: 1500, 2000, and 3000

Weight: 5.3 grams
Motor Mount: 1.3 grams
Shaft size: 1.5mm

KV=3000
Test data on 2S 1000mah lipo
GWS 3 x 2 prop 16,000rpm, 1.6 amps, 61gr thrust
GWS 3 x 3 prop 13,000 rpm, 2.1 amps, 46gr thust
GWS 4 x 2.5 prop 12,000 rpm, 2.1 amps, 61gr thrust
GWS 4.5 x 3 prop 10,000 rpm, 2.5 amps, 70 gr thrust

KV=2000
Test data on 2S 1000mah lipo
GWS 4 x 2.5 prop 11,000 rpm, 1.4 amps, 53gr thrust
GWS 4.5 x 3 prop 9,000 rpm, 1.6 amps, 62 gr thrust

Don,

Do you have 1.5 mm prop adapters, or know of a source? The 1500 Kv unit looks to be perfect for things like the little SA planes (DiddleBug, MudBug, Li'l SQuiRT, etc.).....

I agree — I'm about to start a DiddleBug, and this motor looks pretty promising!

It seems BP hobbies is selling them. I have no source at the moment. When I tested the motors I used a GWS push on rubber spinner

Good news is I have found 1.5mm prop savers. I will have them in about two weeks.
