Newbie: What Helicopter to get?

I am looking to get in to flying RC Helicopters, and with the research that I have done I think an electric helicopter would be good to start with. I am looking for a good helicopter to learn on but one advance enough to get in to a little bit of aerobatic flying with out investing in another helicopter later on. Can anyone recommend what would be good to get?

Budget?
are you near a club?
if yes a T-Rex
if no Blade CX2

go for the biggest you can afford
and get a simulator and practise loads

As low as possible, but willing to go about $300.00 to $400.00
Near a club:
Not sure if there is one around me?

Hi...I am on the journey to find the right mix.

I am planning on buying a simulator and spend a few months with it
before buying a real electric helicopter that breaks when it
crashes...and it will many times as we learn to use it.

=46rom what I have found, there is no hurry to buy an actual helicopter
for Christmas (no great sales...or real pricing competition within the
industry) so one can wait till you actually are ready to fly.

I would also recommend buying new....older equipment is many times
available because the lack of parts availability.

No, it's full of all kinds of "RC" *CRAP* you wouldn't want.

"Cheap" and "RC" are mutually exclusive terms - especially when
dealing with helicopters.
