Anybody else have a sneaky look under the Christmas tree yet?

I did... at my parents there seems to be a box that sounds like sticks & string and though the thin wrapping something that looks like a tall ship

Oh well I guess I can't get a Lindy Blue Devil every year...

My birthday is so close to Christmas they are about one in the same. I got the Kings Ransom pirate ship last week. Very happy with it! :)

C. Slick,

The Pro Fisherman is a blast. The best outboard I have seen. Follow the maintenance instructions. Pulling the motor apart isn't too bad. One other suggestion keep the steering rate turned down at first. She'll get a hole shot on you and get up on her tail, you'll want to over correct. This boat is very responsive. Have fun, be safe, pick one. :D

If you had a steam powered boat, that coal might come in handy! :D

That sounds like either:

A. A new doghouse

or

B. A few new springer hulls!

I did & saw 5 elves plastering the interior of my house.. at least my new workshop doesn't look like a dark cave anymore. A finished house before Chinese New Year will be the best present I could ever hope for! :)

I got a propeller...attached to a pair of wings. I don't imagine that there are more boats in my future. They're stacked up pretty deep around here already.

Better one on the water than four in the storage facility!!!

Toesup, don't plan on visiting the original Whiskeytown. It's at the bottom of the lake at Whiskeytown dam, and Springers are only rated for surface duty.

I know it's not another boat but Mrs. Santa will be leaving me a "Tamiya Tam-Tec 1/16 RTR Frog Buggy" with a bunch of aluminum go fast goodies for it including aftermarket alum. oil shocks. How do I know this you may ask? Well children,...... Mr. Santa is magic! :D

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone To You and Yours!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

OK here we go... so Toes how long until we get a Submaringer?

Just started to move into the new house... problem I have now is; do I finally get my own workshop or some place to store the boats
However almost one less today at the pond :( My Revell Snowberry came limping back into dock smoking  And she isn't fitted with a smoke generator.

Not a good sign.

No it isn't... I wasn't thinking as I tried her out with a 7.2v RC car NiCad racing pack. I think I'll stick to 4xD cells from now on.

And oh yes the box of sticks and string to turned out to be a box of sticks and string in the form of an Amati English Schooner, way too small to RC :(

Way to small to RC, how big is it? explain "footy" yachts if they can be RC your schooner could probably be RC, just need a big keel on it

Well the coal that was under my tree turned into a collection of mini clamps, folding box knife, and some hobby jewlery  that will be delivered later as it has not arrived yet. Oh that hobby jewlery just so happens to be a set of 4" 5 bladed props for my Crowley tug "Hunter". Girlfreind said that should help motivate me to get back to work on that prodject!! :D

The hull is made of resin and is about 400mm long, 75mm at the beam and if I sat standard servo on it's side without a horn, it's still too tall for the deck.

And BTW "Way Too Small" I mean it can be RC'd, it will take some serious messing around , but I've got other RC projects I'd rather work on with my precious free time; like the BB Andrea Gail and my four stacker.

Oh and in other related gift news, my sister hit the mark bang on... gift vouchers from the local RC boat shop :D :D :D
