If you remember these then you know what it is. This is a RC Hovercraft by Whiteman Industries. It is NIB. Box is weathered but that means nothing to this because it is Aluminum. This is a complete kit. I am asking 350.00+ shipping. I am including a HB .61 motor and a few props.
If you have any questions please ask. I will answer them to the best of my ability. I even have the RC Boat Modeler with the report on this boat.

WOW!!
This is a very rare beast. And to find one NIB is like unheard of. Your asking price is very fair, as I recall paying $400 for my kit when I bought it in 1991. I never saw the article in the boat modeler magazine. I wonder if I could persuade you to scan the article and e-mail it to me? :)
Attached is a photo of my Marauder, waiting to be restored some day.
I really wish I could buy your kit!!!!!!!! :(

Kmot,
How does your Marauder run? It looks like it would be great on snow.

I never ran it on snow. It would be fantastic on snow! But I did run it on an asphalt parking lot and on dirt. The dirt was actually a groomed baseball diamond, so it was nice and smooth. This one has a Fox .78 even though the kit said to use a .60 :p
It is 'very' fast. It is a blast to run. Absolutely stomps all over those electric things they make today.
You need to 'anticipate' your turns, and then kick it sideways with the rudder and then power it forward again. If you are about to crash into something, just release the throttle. The skirt deflates instantly it it comes to an immediate stop.
