thats one awesome looking destroyer. I wonder if all the detailing was hand made or bought. Interesting to see it was made from plastic sheet

Click on the link for that destroyer and you can read where the main gun fires a .22 shell. Good for sneaking up on drug smuggelers and maybe taking one of them out.
This is really some model if you read the whole thing on it. Pete

Nice, but to do that in 200 hours seems a stretch, that is a ton of work.

Well that's twenty ten hour days and even if a guy could work that many hours straight I don't thik that model could be built to that degree of detail in so short a time. Maybe they meant 1200 hours. Thats almost six months worth of 8 hour days. Sounds more like to to me.
I'd like to know how he fires a .22 from that gun. Must be pretty substantial construction to absorb the recoil not to mention dangerous to anybody in the way.

Surely, it must be firing blanks. I don't believe someone would put a working turret with a live round .22, too dangerous.

I bought the twin 50 cal. gun mounts and crew members. 37 & 20mm are scratch.
