168 hours in shipping dept and counting

Placed order on Dec 12, all items in stock and paid for immediately. The status screen indicated the next day that payment was made, items reserved and the order was printed and being packaged in the warehouse.

I have been getting this same status report evryday for the past week. How long does it take to pulll six items off the self, shrink wrap, put in a box, slap on a label and drop in the mailbox?

Wasn't there an earlier commitment to 24 hr turnaround?

You may want to send an email to confirm that all of your items are actually available...

I had same issue, after waiting a week, sent email and found out one of the items was NOT available (despite website info to the contrary), but the email got some attention and I was able to make a switch for another item, which got my order on its way that day...

Please...not another hour by hour acct of a HC purchase.We already had one recently and in the end...like always..it got sorted ...
How long does it take ?? I imagine since yours is not the only order waiting to go out ...in the christmas season no less.... that it will take about as long as it takes.I placed an order on 14th ... and it still shows as "processing"...If I learned anything by dealing with overseas vendors regardless of origin things happen slower than dealing with someone local.Particularly around national holidays like christmas and chinese new year

EMS Express : 3-4 Days transit time. (Incl. Tracking + Registration)
Air Mail : 6-39 Days transit time.
Air Parcel : 6-21 Days transit time.(Incl. Registration)

So unless you used EMS I don't believe technically that you can fault them for staying within their printed shipping estimates until they exceed them...

Here's to hoping you get your stuff sooner rather than later

pinolefm1 is right, and I believe the UH site says that shipping may take longer during the christmas rush.
Don't worry, I placed an order on the 8th. I received an e-mail today that it is now in the mail.

Really man, this is getting rediculous Larry, get a life and stop counting the hours as they go by.

I bet your one of those people who push elevator buttons that are already lit, and hit the "Push to walk" buttons at the street corner 20 times trying to get it to say walk. :rolleyes:

I'm not counting hours myself but there has been a noticeable increase in the time from order placed until order shipped. Not as bad as it used to be but if the trend continues they could be back there soon. It was sweet for a while though!

I really don't sweat it. Don't order anything you need right now. As long as it shows up I'm happy.

Rather than get a life I would rather get results. Do you think it's a coincidence that the same evening that I post this complaint I get a notice from UH that my order has just been shipped?

In the past when I have had problems getting a response from UH or they seemed to ignored my inquiries I have posted the problem here to bring visibility to their poor performance. Everytime, without fail, somehow my problem seems to get attention and finally resolved.

If this is what I need to do to get results then I think I 'll continue doing it. It seems to me that if someone doesn't want to read about my problems they can just ignore the post. Also, if it's such a waste of time to read about why spend additional time writing a complaint?

Anyway, my problem has been solved with a just couple of minutes of effort, not a bad return on my investment.
