Welcome scotties!
What other helis have you been flying for a year? Do they stay in the air OK? Just trying to find out if it's a particular heli or some aspect of your 3d flying that's killing the NR3D.
Tach.

If I remember well Walkera 22E = Night Rider 3D = bad choice :( (at least was for me).
It took me 6 months of similar - go out - get in - order parts loop (no matter training gears, patience, etc) - just to get to simple hover.
Instead of a hammer I decided to do it right and bought Mini Titan instead. And, yes, that was the thing that sorted out all my problems! :D

Huge thread on the NR3D here. (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=455241)
It is a tough heli to get a hold of but many have done it.
Read up on it. Most of the issues are in the thread.
Let me know if you have a specific problem and I can try and help.
Chris N also monitors that thread. He is a rep from Venom and very helpfull.
Also you can call Paul down at venom directly and he is more then happy to help you out. I called him many times when I started out with the 3D.
Good Luck!

Just to say I'm not too happy with my VNR3D or Venom products in general.
Got my VNR3D just last week
1st attempt to just get a lil lift off ended up with the bloody thing tipping, chipping blades, and breaking flybar see saw and flybar control tray. That was with throttle down and all. An awaiting parts for attempt 2 :(
I have also seen the Venom DVD with the smashing of helis...that came with my Ocean Rescue and i thought "hmmm that's encouraging" lol
And the Ocean Rescue.....don't even get me started on it's flaws..............
Will go check out that thread though I.C.O.N :D
Cheers
Geo
