Littlescreamers
Dec 15, 2007, 01:55 PM
This is a long time coming as I have been working on this water jacketed outrunner for some time now. I needed a test bed for this new motor and a quick call to Minicatracingusa (http://www.minicatracingusa.com/Links.html) and I have just what I need. this is a very cool little boat. Comes complete and ready to run. It needed a power boost so littlescreamers was very happy to help out! here are a few pictures of the craft and I can say that we weighed in at the same weight as stock with our motor to the gram. testing is under way and video will fallow.
With the new water cooled motor we are able to push this motor way beyond the normal amp draws.
Any questions??
Tell what you think??
Thanks
Scott

Looks interesting. How many cells are you using 3s?
Looking forward to the video and hopefully you can clock the speed.

Yes I am using a 3s batt, As for speed. She sounds like a gas boat when she steps up on a plane. It was a little windy so the water was choppy but when I did open her up she SCREAMED! I will try again today and get some video. The water cooling works great and even at slow speeds I could see the water coming out the side. Fun stuff just wish it was a little warmer :D

Looking forward to the video. They were selling these boats at FITS. What is the MAH of the pack your are running and what is the runtime?
I have a Supervee 27 that does around 40 mph, I am sure you will beat that no problem.

I am using a 1800 3s and as for speed ??? It really screams. I have a friend on the way over to help out with the video. To tell the truth I need to take it down a notch as it will fly off the water at full power. But I will shoot a video of it first :D

So will all the boats be available with the Littlescreamers motor or will that be an upgrade?

That is looking really nice, what size prop was used in the vid? Looks to be something around the 32mm mark. Can't wait to see it when it is fully opened up, and yes, judging by the size of the lake, you are definitely going to need more water.

Doctor Who,
There are several video's now in the boat video section :D We are satisfied with the motors Kv and now have turned towards props and tuning. I believe we offer the fastest motor for this size boat now and the video's should validate it

Will the 45mm motor fit in the new Aquacraft UL-1? That would be a great market for you guys to target... IMHO, that boat will bring in a lot of newbs to FE boat racing.

The 45mm motor will be able to handle 4000 watts :D Can that boat take it? Is it large enough?
Forgive me, still learning about boats :D

Probably not :( But it doesn't mean you shouldn't make one to fit this size boat ;)
