Well I've got the 2-T started at long last. The fuselage is going to be pretty much stock with the exception of adding the canopy option. (Glad I happened to pick up the canopy when I got the kit ages ago ;) ) The main mods are going to be the addition of spoilers in the main wing panel.
At this point the fuselage is almost done. I only have to build up the rudder, horizontal stab and elevator then it will be about ready for sanding. I'm heading over ot the LHS tomorrow to get a few small items that are still needed. Hinges, spoiler servo, horns and a smaller battery pack since the one that came with my new system won't quite fit in the nose with the canopy mods.
Since the fuselage is stock I'll just take pictures of it when it's ready to cover. I will do detailed shots of the wing mods in case anyone wants to use the same ones on a simular wing. (2X6, PussyCat, Etc.) Spoilers will be 6 inches long on each side of the main panel and fully boxed.

UPDATE:
Fuselage is almost finished. Just have to install the forward tail brace, the tow hook mounting block, one more pushrod housing, sheet the bottom and give it all a final sanding. I should have this all done by the time I hve to go to work tomorrow.
I already done up the mods on the plans for the spoiler system and have all the parts needed to make the mods. The only part I'll have to fabricate will be the spoiler control horns. I just couldn't find any that would do the trick and I'm tired of hunting for parts instead of building.

The tail brace is a good place for some carbon tape.

Since the fuselage is stock except for the canopy option I'm holding off on pics untill I start the wing.

Ok... The fuselage is finished up and covered with the exception of some decorative trim. I've just finished building up the center panel of the wing with the exception of hooking up the spoiler linkages and making the access hatch for the servo. I've found that I'm going to have to pick up some micro connectors for the push-rods due to the tight space in the center of the wing. I'm going to make sure that everything is working to spec before I cover it all up. The outer panels should go very quickly in the construction and I hope to have the plane ready to fly in about another week. (Having time off from work has helped to get this project well under way.)
I will be taking pictures of the completed center wing panel with the mods right before I am ready to cover it all up. Colors are black and transparent yellow with a gold nose and wing tips.

Well I made it to the LHS and picked up the rest of the needed parts yesterday. Weather here has been rainy so I got back to work on the plane as soon as I got back. I managed to get the spoiler push-rods finished up only to find that with the servo mounted as it was I didn't have enough throw to fully deploy the spoiler blades. :censored: Arms are to short to give enough travel. The only way I can see to fix the problem is to re-work the servo placement to allow me to use a longer arm. This will require making an access to the servo on the top of the wing instead of the bottom so I can adjust everything. All that work will have to be removed and redone now. OH well..... Back to the drawing board.

Well I got the spoilers working now. I just need to take care of some minor binding and it will be time for pictures and covering. No problem getting them to drop back into the boxes but one right side clevis catches from time to time on deployment. I sure don't want that to happen in flight!!! The only other thing I need to do is add the cap strips on the inboard ends of the removable tips and everything will be ready to cover up. Add my AMA numbers to the wing and it will be ready to maiden at long last.
So far the plane seems to be tail heavy but nothing a little lead in the nose won't take care of. Once I have the CG set, I'm going to cast up some ballast plates to go on a threaded holder in the fuselage. A 1oz., 2oz., and a 4oz plate should give me a good range of adjustment depending on wind conditions.

Ok... Here are the pics of the mods. NOTE: I still have to do some sanding before covering.

All finished up. Just need to balance it out and do the glide tests to make sure the trim is right. I forgot a lot of the old building and covering tricks but they're coming back. Next up... The Paragon w/ RES and outrunner motor for launching.
