There is a cool computer game called DogFighter. It lets you fly model airplanes indoors and shoot up bookcases and other fun things.

Also it's multi player

I have a 10 year old son who is addicted to video/computer games. I, however, spend most of my time w/ FMS. The boy gets bored with it. If there were some kind of game to teach flying (points for flying patterns or going through portals/loops in the air) he might be more interested.

Is there a game out there that will add some "whiz-bang" to standard flight simulator functionality? I'd like to find a way to get my son to enjoy more stick time on the simulator. Having an interface to a real TX would be a requirement. Do the games mentioned earlier do this?

You can use G2's tx with MS FlightSim 2002. Then add some combat or pylon racing...

Hi
for using your radio as joystick the best solution is a cheap interface. You could find on 26€(~32$) on www.rc-devices.com

RealFlight G3.5 has more game-like features than the other major sims, including obstacle courses with hoops in the air that you fly through. http://realflight.com. You can use it with most transmitters.

I'm a little late getting to this party. I liked the demo for dogfighters, does anyone know if the game is still being published?? It seems that airfix has poofed. I would be willing to buy a used copy if there is one out there.

Thanks
