Best Light Setup For Ifo

I HAVE A IFO THAT I WANT TO SET UP FOR NIGHT FLYING

PROBLEM IS IT USES A 7.4 V 800 MAH BATTERY AND THE RECIEVER HAS THE TINY MICRO PLUGS ON IT

i have a spare port but dont know if the micro plug will handle the power

should i just go with some battery operated lights??
which are going to be lite and brite??
any help will be great

Try the cheap LED christmas lights. If you have 5v through your receiver then your good to go.http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=784553

Get some LED's and solder a 330ohm resistor onto it, hook them up in parallel and solder on a JST or other small plug to the ESC side that plugs into the battery and attach the LED's to that, this way you can keep it unplugged for daytime flying and then plug it in for night flying and you don't have to worry about frying the RX or overloading the ESC BEC.
