Some guy posted some pics of some other dude's RC Car over at
alt.binaries.radio-control...
Supercharging is involved- that's all I'm sayin'!

p.s. Don't ask me anything else about it after reading the comments, 'cause
I don't know sh*t else other than what I wrote with the images.

hehe, let the debate begin. frankly i think the only advantage to
supercharging one of these engines would be to push exhaust gases more
quickly. the power drain to turn the pump would far exceed any gains.
would be cool tho.

Bunch of crap....First the air intake is restricted(look close) and goes to
a filter box that goes no where! Next look at the super charger...it looks
like it came off a plastic model...and if you DID make a super charger..it
would just blow a tank of fuel through the engine quicker than castor oil
through the bowels!! if you could start it..

As I said, I just wanted people to check it out. As for it being a bunch of
crap... Maybe the owner/builder just wanted to make a detailed tenth scale
model? I think it would do well at a concours event. I'd hate to see it run
in a race, all that hard work (rear wing supports, delicate ductwork, etc)
would be thrashed in no time. I do agree that it seems non-functional, or at
least it provides no actual performance increase. Kudos to the guy for
scratch-building some of the details, though. The wheels and their disc
inserts look especially sweet, IMHO.
